Who we are and who we work for
We are a Christmas light installation business in Metro Vancouver. Most of the people who call us are homeowners who are done with the ladder. Many have bins of lights sitting in the garage and no wish to spend a cold Saturday on the roof.
We also work for stratas, low-rise condos and storefronts. The job is the same idea at a bigger scale. Someone wants lights up, working, and taken down on time.
We keep it plain and neighbourly. You call, we talk through what you have and what you want, and we tell you what the job involves. You are hiring us for a job, not signing up for anything.
How a job works
You can book any one of our services on its own. That means installation, repair, removal, tree and shrub lights, or strata and commercial work. If someone else hung your lights, we can still repair them or take them down.
If you have your own lights, we look at them first. When they are outdoor-rated and working, we hang them. When they are not, we can supply lights instead.
We explain what the price depends on before you decide. That usually comes down to the size of the house, how high and how long the runs are, what is being lit, and whether we are supplying the lights.
Everything goes up on clips. We do not use nails or staples. Removal happens in January, and you can book it with us even if we did not do the install.
Where we work
We cover fifteen Metro Vancouver communities.
- Vancouver, Burnaby, Richmond and New Westminster
- Surrey, Delta, Langley and White Rock
- Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody, Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows
- North Vancouver and West Vancouver
Our hours are Monday to Saturday, 8am to 7pm. That covers most weekday evenings and Saturdays, when homeowners are usually free to talk through a job.
What we promise
We do not run a program, and we do not ask you to commit to next year. Each job stands on its own.
We promise to tell you what the price depends on, in plain words, before work starts. We promise to use clips only, so your gutters, shingles and trim are not marked with nails or staples.
We also promise not to work a roof when it is unsafe. Rain, frost and wind make roofs slick, and Metro Vancouver has plenty of all three in winter. When conditions are poor, we move the roof work to another day rather than push through.
And we take the lights down in January, so the job is finished when we say it is.
